Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was impeccably clean and very well-appointed. It was conveniently located in downtown Athens, GA, close to numerous attractions. The service was friendly and accommodating, although some areas felt a bit outdated. The dining options were above average, with a tasty selection available.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room we first stayed in felt like a swamp after one of us took a shower, but after moving to a new room, things improved. The new room was clean, had a king bed, small sofa, coffee table, and desk. The service was certainly friendly, although the check-in process was extremely slow and less than satisfactory. The hotel’s location is a major advantage, as it's right in downtown Athens GA, close to all the bars, restaurants, and the University of Georgia Athens. The dining options weren't exceptional, but better than what you find in most hotels with complimentary breakfast. Facilities were decent overall.
The hotel was quite big, with a love seat that doubled as a sofa bed in the room. It was generally quiet, but some noise from the ice maker throughout the night. A few doors closing at bedtime could be heard.
